Since there is literally no reason to continue the prohibition of any drug, (But for now, let's just be specific to cannabis) since prohibition has been a failure, a waste of massive amounts of money and resources, imprisoned and ruined the lives of innocent people who have harmed no one other than themselves, infringed on their freedom to do so, made drugs more potent and available to children and literally caused us all harm by increasing criminal activity by promoting a black market, I began to ponder...
Why don't we put and end to it? We're heading in the right direction with cannabis, two states have legalized and plenty have decriminalized and have medicinal use. Why don't we all stand up, improve our lives and say, "No more infringing on our freedoms and stealing from us to pay for a phony system that has only caused more harm than drugs ever will." Why don't we improve society by giving responsible adults a safer drug over alcohol, nictoine and caffeine even?

Were you by any chance high while thinking about this?

It's more fun to keep druggies on edge.
