The above video is the sound of dial-up internet 700% slower. This could easily be in a horror film.
For comparison, here's the original dial-up sound.

Oh those were the days......good ol' dial-up. When people called, you get disconnected.
-
*strokes beard of wisdom* I miss dial-up...
-
I hear a few sounds Call of Duty ripped in there...
-
Honestly, it reminds me of the music from any "Flood" level in Halo.
-
I remember logging on to AOL, that sound was a good thing. It meant it was working.
-
I'm imagining the AOL voice slowed down and really deep and demonic. WELCOME. YOU'VE GOT MAAAAAAIIIILL
-
The horror of those memories.
-
I expected sqidward to pop out like " I WANT TO GO HOME!"
-
For those of us who lived through that era, it already has been.
0.0 of 13.5 MB dowloaded Speed: 3.5 kB/s Est. time: HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS
Slenderman jams to this song.
-
that is pretty creep
-
Reminds me of what Saturn sounds like.

Edited by DarkSpyda04: 3/7/2013 3:17:40 AMPerfect horror movie theme right there. I would've never figured the dial-up sound slowed down would make any music theme but here I stand corrected. The last time I messed with sounds I turned an explosion into a sniper rifle firing by speeding the sound up with audacity. It's interesting what results you can get by speeding up and slowing down some sounds.

It does sound creepy..
-
This isn't scary
-
I thought this was going to be a clever commentary on the terrors of dial-up Internet service.
-
Sounds good. I like it.
-
That's actually really creepy...If they extended that video to a 90 minute film it would be scary enough.
-
Makes my hair stand on end...
-
That actually is a good horror soundtrack.

You don't even have to slow it down. Dial-up itself is scary enough to have it's own movie.
