So, let's say I have a notification like the one highlighted in the picture. I have two replies to a particular post that I've made, and I would like to see both of them so I can know what people are saying about me behind my back.
I click on that link, and it links me to Jump Into Hell's Reply. This is fine and all if you only ever get one reply per comment, but here I have two replies to my comment. Giving me a direct link to Jump Into Hell's Reply only shows me one reply. This is a problem, because to view all the replies to my post, I now have to click on the "View all Replies" link, and then scroll down to find my comment to look at the full list of replies. That's a bit of a pain, but it's a problem that can easily be fixed.
Rather than linking you directly to the reply, Bungie.next should link you directly to the comment that is being replied to. As you can see, I can now drop down the reply chain and view all the replies to my comment, not just one, it helps when you're getting notifications for a particularly busy thread.

That would make everything so much more efficient and easier to use the forum! This has got to happen.

I think this is an excellent way to fix the problem, especially on the mobile app, and shouldn't require too much extra work to implement. When a comment is made, and the notification event fires, reference the original post object the reply is tied to, rather than the reply object itself.

This! +1

I'd like to see the list of reply I got. I can have 7 replies but 5 was old. I want to see both reply notification

I like this idea

Good idea..

When using the app if I click view all replies I get a loading icon then a blank white screen. Also happens if I hit refresh while viewing a thread.

Hyle, as a mentor you'd think you'd have the foresight to not put this thread in #feedback That's for Destiny feedback. Shame on you for not realizing this a year and a half before the #feedback tag became a thing.
On a less 'give Hyle crap' note, despite the idea's age I still like it.
IGN's website has this problem too.. Makes me crazy

Does anyone know if there is a way to track your threads or posts?
-
Yes a thousand times yes. Only big issues I have with companion app all have to do with forums. I've written down like 5 issues alone in my review on the app store. Start applying to bungie for a forum position, because they have A LOT of job security with the work they need to do to improve the forums.

I like this idea! This is kind of frustrating each time a get a reply :/

Very good idea!

Yes! This forum is quite bad in terms of usability, you can't even know who liked your posts! I wonder what it takes to copy a system like every other forum has
-
Definitely! Please do!

Yes please. It's really annoying on the mobile app. When I click on one of those notifications, especially one replying to a long comment chain, it shows you that comment and your original comment, but that's it. Also, if you click the 'show more replies' button, it shows them, but not in the correct order.
-
Definitely, I've wanted that feature for a while.
-
I concur! Thank you for posting this, because I've been confused about what the actual problem was and had no clue how to say what was happening.
Never rip a tag off of a mattress.
Agreeable. When I click on those notifications, I'd definitely like to see all the replies, not just the most recent.
