So I am putting together a feedback thread with suggestions and opinions from the #BnetRegulars and I ran into a bit of a problem. In the old forum system when your OP reached the character limit of 10000 you would simply "reserve" the second post or however many more you would need. There lies the issue, that style of reserving only worked because the second part of your OP would stay directly beneath the first section and it could be read as one long OP. Won't the new forum system separate the two or however many posts there are in what you consider to be your OP?
This is actually kind of an important issue as some of the best threads that the community has produced over the years have been MUCH longer than 10000 characters. Is there a built in way for me to post my very long OP correctly? Has anyone else already found the answer?

1 ReplyEdited by Pulse Cloud: 1/12/2013 3:03:23 AMGuess you'll have to use LZ77 compression (manually, like a boss), guys. This could be easily fixed if the spoiler tag just occupied one line (and not a box like it does) and allowed for a _much_ larger number of characters. I assume character limit is to avoid excessively long posts, so hiding them in a spoiler tag is all that it takes (or should take) to save people from instant blindness. #FeatureRequest!!!

10 RepliesEdited by Hylebos: 1/12/2013 2:18:31 AMAs a regular Wall Creator, this was a very concerning issue to me, but I think I found a solution that eliminates the need for Forum Ninjas to lock and unlock your thread (not that they can exactly do that anymore). Observe. If I were the original poster, I could fit 40,000 characters of thread into a single continous page using this method (you just click on the chain to the right of the time stamp to grab the list of posts.
