Ingot drops are way to low. Takes forever to rank up.
This ranking up renegades vendors takes way to long. Bungie needs to increase ingot drop rates. And sometimes the bounties require you to enable a renegade ability and complete a smuggling bounty on a specific planet when there are no smuggling on the planet required.

It’s not too bad, just do the daily quests, those give a ton and each completion of Territory Factions gives more too.
