Not swap actively hurts contest modes more than it does benefit the race. It not only limits builds and crafting but I feel is speaks to poor design for the activity its active for. If you create an encounter that is only clear-able if you swap 5-10 times during DPS then either the power scaling, the health bar, or the design entirely is inherently flawed. You want us to stop swapping loadouts during gameplay? Then stop creating bosses that are dependent on it to clear. Its the incentive behind the meta that needs to be changed, not forcefully manhandling it to your liking. Additionally, this won't stop the top of the top, the high end players from completing the activity. They'll find a way, but for the people who want to enjoy the contest mode (even if they know they won't clear but just enjoy the challenge) this just disincentives them to play it. You're so gung ho on "Play your way!" but punish people for wanting to craft a damage loadout, then a final stand loadout, for example. I'm aware contest modes aren't for everyone to complete. There is no participation trophy and completions shouldn't be handed out, but Not Swap alienizes and widens the skill bracket between the average to above average players from the top 1%. The top will still get their completion and anything lower will either find it too annoying to complete, or compete entirely, or just outright cheat to get their clear. There's multiple factors that played into why Epic DP was cheated and had a low population, but one of them was definitely Not Swap. It's hurting races and if you don't want us playing inventory simulator, make encounters that don't rely on it.

The reason the health is inflated is because the upper echelon came to the conclusion that swapping loadouts is optimal. So they have to compensate for that ability, hence not swap was invented in the game to counteract which means, they can give bosses normal health and not in the trillions to counter a single technique. It became that bad that last DP raid race. Even knowing we wouldnt make it, wasn't exactly enjoyable because everytbing was so inflated
