Every time I see a negative review under Renegades, I check the last time they played and it says like "Last played 2 years ago." Stop review bombing an actually good expansion, or atleast play before you review.
another big contributing factor to the poor reception is because whenever someone asks "Should I get back into the game, Renegades looks fun" some absolute basement dwelling troglodite that quit the game 2 years ago will go "NO, THIS GAME SUCKS!!!!"
They are sucking the joy out of the game, by constantly being negative. Find another game to take up your time or something. Fallout 76 has scratched the Destiny itch for me in dry parts of the game, but for the love of god, do something else and let the people who DO play the game enjoy it.

This is something that will forever follow this game tbh, just people who never move on despite what they say. Or even complete outsiders who’ve never tried this game before. Renegades imo is decent but not good when compared to other expansions, but it’s definitely above shadowkeep so that’s a w for me.
