Is "dual destiny" the only way to unlock exotic class items?

Duel destiny isn't to hard watch a guide and have the symbols sheet next to you and you can easily lfg it

Edited by The WITNASTY: 4/6/2025 3:29:24 PMI'm all for cooperative missions but unfortunately, you're forced to go into voice chat as you have to call out symbols so it's not as simple as watching a walkthrough video and queuing up in LFG. It's also a fairly long mission on a timer as well so there's a good chance that if you screw something up or die, your teammate is gonna ghost out and look for another group. I'd just wait for the next Halloween event and hope it's available again.

1 ReplyAs of right now, yes. In the last Festival of the Lost (Halloween event), you were able to buy exotic class items even if you hadn’t been through Dual Destiny yet. Only after doing one of those two methods, you can purchase more from Xûr or open chests in the Pale Heart for a chance drop. You can also keep farming Dual Destiny for more.
