Carouse Reddit & look for a Discord. There's loads of Raid Discords out there who'll run carries, run teaching sessions, etc. At the end of the day, building a Raid team is a nightmare. Lots of gamers out there are rather unhinged & behaviorally unpredictable. Our society has simultaneously reinforced everyone being offended by everything at all times. So when me critiquing a loadout prior to an encounter is met with hostility, it signifies to me that that player is both emotionally unstable & ignorant of the game. The forums are ripe with these sort of reactions as well. You figure the forums are the same players you're encountering in the game, so then it really checks out why LFG, FTF & guided games have all been a crapfest. Even for myself, back before my entire friends list evacuated this IP, we always struggled Raiding. Some people don't want to focus, some don't want to shut up and have proper comms, some don't want to tune loadouts (rare), and some are just bad at the game. What you're left with is a ragtag group thin on the patience factor and some tempers flaring, souring friendships. I've Raided with several Discord Groups to experience new content. When everyone knows what's going on, they're mostly a huge joke. Like a glorified strike. But when 3-4 people are trying to learn at once? Nah forget it. Hours spent in singular encounters. I'd highly encourage you to utilize Discord and find a dedicated Raid group you can join. It's really the only way to experience the content with some consistency.
