Bungie you got a license to use streetfighter and you wasted it on ghost ornaments.
How cool would it have been to use armor ornaments from streetfighter on our characters?
I probably would have bought quite a few.
Who does your markey research and implementation???

2 RepliesEdited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 1/31/2025 3:42:22 PMLike the 30th anniversary and the Halo liscense No UNSC Assault Rifle or Titan Spartan Armor , why even bother at all ?

2 RepliesAgreed, but because street fighter is lame. It should have been gears of war.

It's not on Bungi Example: Focus Entertainment got the licence to creat Space marines 2 but they wasn't allowed to use Big E
-
Capcom most likely dictated how thier characters could be used.

2 RepliesThe license doesn't mean you can use whatever you like. Generally when dealing with licenses the company will tell you what you can and can't do and you pay for each character (Unless it's a deal like what Terraria and Palworld are doing)

Most likely they had to agree on the usage beforehand.

2 RepliesOk you want armor, then answer me this question what were the 3 characters that outfits can be recreated into the destiny to a) matche each class and b) look like actual armor i.e. to cover the entier body(head to toe)
How cool would it have been to use armor ornaments from streetfighter on our characters?
Not at all, that sounds lame as -blam!-

1 ReplyWe have a Blanka universal ornament. Dyed finality looks sick on it. So do the majority of the shades that have some kind of moving effect on them.

Edited by Obelix: 1/30/2025 11:57:28 PMIf they do, I want a Bruce Springsteen outfit. White shirt, blue jeans and telecaster on the back.

Meh. It’s a combo of 2 things Bungie’s marketing and business team is one of the best in the business. They likely did a benefit cost analysis and determined that the items they produced were the best combo to return on investment. And unfortunately Street Fighter has significantly less pull with the younger demographics (the ones much more likely to buy cosmetics) than an IP like Star Wars, DnD, or the Witcher…

I highly doubt they received a license to just use anything they want to make anything they want, but I do agree armor ornaments are always better than ghosts.
