Make the class exotic item attainable solo.
Add the class exotic item to the pale heart loot pool upon completion of the legendary story, or to Xur's inventory for [i]everyone[/i], or add in a solo instance of the Dual Destiny mission.

1 ReplyAs a Original Destiny Beta player Bungie has always has found a way to screw with the player base. Some of you will remember how long it took you to get your first Gjallarhorn or Vex Mythoclast doing the Vault of Glass only to have Bungie delete it from your inventory.....then reintroduce them back into the game at a later date. While I agree the Exotic Class Items should be available to solo players, Bungie will do what Bungie wants to do regardless of the player base. Maybe after Sony takes complete control of Bungie operations we will then see positive changes to how Destiny will be improved....

It should be (at minimum) a once-per-character-per-week drop from excision, salvation's edge, and overthrow. Especially if they're going to stick with this overall nerf to Pale Heart chest drops. I don't find Dual Destiny fun to grind and I raid weekly. It's tedious for a single drop of a single exotic with a large perk pool and after so many drops of repeats / perks I absolutely don't want, I am done grinding for it until there's some sort of change. Ideally, they would allow focusing at Rahool. Maybe for a high cost of like 10 pale heart engrams + exotic cypher or something. I don't feel like that would be too much, since it would still be randomly rolled.

Or have the version without a timer just unlock the ability to get the class item through pale heart chests etc. I'm sure the elitists will take issue with that as well.

79 RepliesHonestly I wish they’d do it already. Give us a quest or something. It can be the same difficulty as dual destiny but with less ads. It wouldn’t take away from dual destiny. I don’t get why every single solo player is getting bashed for wanting an alternate route of getting it. It’s not like we’re asking for handouts.

So no, I don't think it should become solo-able. Just like we can't solo the raids. I like co-op, so I think it should remain just that. I think some activities should be made more solo friendly, like strikes being able to not let others matchmake with you, but for this activity, I think it should remain as is.

Mission duo drop rate guaranteed( effective farm) Pale heart after duo completion =rng that's the problem ( not effective ,time consuming and potential burnout for players)

I believe the Dual function is designed to be obtained by 2 players only. Kind of the reason it has 2 exotics fused into 1, sort of. Is it nice to get loot? Yes. Is it worth it to me to play activities their way? No. This is a game, not a career. Play for fun. Peace...

1 ReplyYou post this every week. Maybe instead of spending the time complaining actually spend it doing the mission? It isnt a difficult mission and there is nothing stopping you except yourself. We dont need more handouts or easy routes to loot, all it does is stop people from playing.
