Will Mararhon be a success?
I heard it's not even going to be an extraction shooter anymore awhile back. I thought it was going to be a hero shooter now since direction changed, but I'm curious on if it will 1. Be good and 2. Be free to play. I'm interested regardless 💁🏻♂️

It won't be halo, or destiny, I can see it being a big flop and heavy on microtransactions than eververse.

I’m interested in seeing what it’ll be before wanting to get into it. I’m not opposed to playing it either. My assumption is it’ll at the least be an ok game but will it take over a market? Set trends? That we will just have to see. But being a AAA developer I doubt it, devs like to play it safe on that level and make stuff that’s been done before.

2 RepliesOnly to the rabid fans. Throughout Bungie's game history, they plateaued at Halo 3, or maybe Reach for some. To most of us from that time, Bungie has de-evolved from great story based game maker into something else altogether. Whatever Marathon will be has yet to be seen, but from the early trailer of it, I'm not at all interested in it. If you were here for the "Darkness" era between Halo and Destiny, heard all the hype that Destiny was supposed to be and in reality never was, and what it became, you'd be skeptical too.
