Solo player here. 👋🏻 I don’t care about getting the exotic class item. I saw the requirements and rng required to get desired rolls and any interest I had just faded to black. Maybe that means that I failed. 😂 -
4 RepliesYeah, I say wait for it. I’ve done it once. I’m not doing it again. It’s ridiculous. And also, all the streamers with their build videos are pretty much useless now because you don’t have their specific combination anyway.

2 RepliesFun fact: according to bray.tech numbers, more players have the exotic class item than the easily soloable, never glitched legendary khvostov!
-
2 RepliesA failure! I say! Must be why everyone I ever inspect is wearing one, except for warlocks

When Bungie recognizes the majority of players are solo and adjusts to that they will be far more successful…
Nobody cares. Most people play solo, but they also have no problems joining others for a quest or a raid here and there. A die hard solo player is very rare. As for the hardly anyone has done it. Out of 100% of active players 43/100, or 43% of the active player base, have beaten campaign and killed the witness and are able to unlock this Exotic mission. 30/100, or 30% of the active player base, have beaten the exotic mission and got the exotic item. 30/43 is roughly 3/4, or 75%. Which means most people who have access to the mission have done the mission. I do not know where this "hardly anyone" thing is coming from.

1 ReplyBrave for this post. lol very brave. All the people who take this game more serious than life are going to come for you 😂

Eh, I've earned two out of three of them and don't really have the want to go in to unlock it on my Titan yet. I will say though this is an activity that relies heavily on prior knowledge and failure. So if you're struggling to find someone that will go through that with you. Then there may be a bigger issue at play. If one of the players has yet to go through it is a much more daunting task for someone who had to fail and learn to beat it. So to take a wholly new player who shows struggle or resistance to learning the encounters. Only to get to a point to where the other player doesn't want to deal with them anymore due to how they are behaving is something that may be happening here. It's hard to find someone who is chill to do this mission together when tensions flair.

12 RepliesIt's funny how when certain post pop up the regulars show up to show how toxic they are, and they literally make a bunch of nonsense up in their head that was never said. The player base in all live service games are mostly solo players. This is something that will never change. With most of the content in this game it should be set up to where everyone has the option to play how they want to. This developer pushes their player base to play how they want them to play, and that is just wrong.

21 RepliesYep who'd of thought a mini raid with a timer would have such low completion numbers it's almost like raids don't already have low clears when you compare those numbers to the mass player base 🤔 Who'd of thought makeing a similar type mission with a timer and mechanics like outbreaks mission and wicked implement mission which had low clears compared to the mass player base would be a good idea But even more who tf are these bdf accounts downplaying the feedback saying the only complaint or problem is it being multiplayer LOL .PLAIN AND SIMPLE IF YOU RELEASE CONTENT THAT IS SIMILAR TO OTHER PIECES OF CONTENT WITH LOW COMPLETION RATES IT WAS BOUND TO BE FAIL FROM THE GET GO Especially when it's a huge selling point of the dlc

Edited by steviebmagic: 7/24/2024 5:46:00 PMI have attempted doing it. But got put off doing it again having to start right from the start again. Feel if it had check points a lot more people would do it.
-
Nah, they’re goated items. I got all the ones I wanted and am no longer doing the mission.
-
24 RepliesSolo players have lost the support from the community and for good reason. You come across as whiny and entitled. Not all solo players of course. Bur certainly the majority in these forums. Solo players are the vegans of Destiny.
-
I like my exotic cloak so it’s a win for me
-
3 RepliesWould you like to provide the numbers for the % of the playerbase that does not interact with other players?
-
I did it only once or twice. I just farmed the Pale Heart chests to get more. Sadly most had Spirit of Abeyant and some other useless perk. Once I got a few good ones I stopped caring to get anymore. Haven't been back to the Pale Heart since. I did everything I cared to do there.
-
2 RepliesI skipped it along with Microcosm, that content is not for me and that is fine, plenty of other content I can do instead.
-
Just ignore them. Who cares anyway? Just play the game as long as you have fun with it and stop if you dont. Its that easy.
-
7 RepliesAll missions should have an "anti social mode" just for solo players. There are no mechanics and there's just a box at the end with the loot inside for you.
-
I’ve still yet to unlock the damn quest. Trying to get it open is a task all on its own.

Edited by mikeyrox1234: 7/23/2024 12:49:43 PMWhile I do not use them because I am not a fan of prismatic, I think that they are a great addition to the game. So much so that would support more being added into the game. Perhaps make a class item for each individual subclass that alters the super or an aspect in some way? I’d LOVE to have a class item that puts the sentinel shield on my back… or the Sunbreaker hammer in my hip like the one in D1… or have my fists constantly surging with arc energy… or the diamond lance on my back… or I don’t know for strand lol.

Where can I go to see this statement that hardly anyone has done it? Google? Light.gg says %26 titans, %38 for hunters, and %34 for locks. I get that's only polling those registered @ light.gg, but I cannot find anything that backs how hardly anyone has completed the quest as a generic population. Thanks.

Lmao, people are still here whining about Dual Destiny? That’s your game plan? Just sit here and whine until they change it? Your self-imposed restriction means nothing.
-
1 ReplyIdk all the players I speak to have done it. Ho wait…. Yeah…. Problem with being silent is you don’t get anything. Problem with being silent in a online multiplayer game is nobody cares
-
I must say that it is a great succes for me, could be for others to when they go outside of there comfort zone.

1 ReplyDo the mission so you can then complain the “farming” of the exotic class item should be easier.
