Weapon "Enhancement" LOLOLOL

Typical bungo, when you enhanced raid weapons you could change barrel/magazine perks and now with enhancing these other weapons in final shape there is of course new limitations to make it awful and extend the grind lol. So lets sum up how farming brave weapons works now. 1. Attuning that basically doesn't work. Still get the wrong weapon well over 75% of the time when turning in brave tokens. 2. If you get the correct weapon you have a 1 in 3,528 chance of getting the actual roll you want. 3. Enhancing these weapons doesn't even function like it has on previous weapons and they purposely waited to point this out so people wasted their time farming thinking it wasn't a lost cause. Now that its closer to final shape and most people are sick of onslaught and discouraged its ohh btw you can't even change the barrels/magazines on the weapons lol. I can't help but laugh that bungie thinks a 1 in 196 chance of getting the roll you want(assuming you could change barrel/magazine like adept raid weapons) isn't a sufficient enough time waste. Especially considering you can't even properly focus these weapons. You have to hope the correct weapon even drops. They continue to be good at the same one thing....Taking a system that should be a lay up and widely accepted/appreciated by the player base and turning it to -blam!- lol. We have a gunsmith that can't even change the barrel,magazine or masterwork on GUNS lol and now the enhancement is completely useless unless you won the lottery already to begin with lol.

  • Yeah good job bungie, now I can use materials and enhance my 4/5 rolls, GG. It's kinda stingy, Dares's weapons are fully craftable and it's not even a raid or a payed seasonal activity. Would it hurt them to do us a solid and give us the option to change column 1 & 2 perks?

      If this is going to be the standard, TFS will likely be the end for me. The introduction of crafting had me playing so much more and just generally enjoying the game more. I cannot overstate that. I actually get to try a lot of weapon rolls out in different builds and in various activities of varying difficulty. It’s the perfect balance of still RNG but also bad luck protection. They for some reason excluded dungeons from enhancement despite that they are already the worst farm in the game and the least played thing among my clan/friends. The more this game leaned into build crafting the more it needed something like crafting. The real fun is experimentation. Every non challenge specific weapon in the game should have some form of bad luck protection. Hundreds of clears of something without seeing what you want from said activity is objectively unreasonable and does not benefit the player in any way.

        I’m stoked to enhance my brave god rolls and make them even better. It’s hysterical how anyone would cry over being able to make your weapons even more powerful. So the lol part falls completely short. You sound worried haha. How desperate the trolls have become when they down upgrades to weapons. The troll nation is running out of ammunition these days 😂

      • We know that only raid adepts can re roll barrels/mag since enhancement got introduced. But I agree, Im so tired of rng and as a min maxer I hate it so much that everything in our guns is rng. Even just letting us change the masterwork would already be massive.

If the base variants weren't craftable you wouldn't be able to change the barrel/MW/mag traits on adepts.
