I prefer exotics that don’t require me to think about using them outside of my normal gameplay loop. Making sure I pick up the child violates that for me. Others are fine/like that, so I’d recommend using them and deciding for yourself. That’s said, they don’t require any sort of exotic weapon to make them good. Their benefits are provided regardless of that you use.
