If your previous name was changed to Guardian then it will be automatically filtered. Regardless of the reason it was filtered, Bungie don't manually bypass the filter so you'll need to pick a different name.

That a shame, unsure why it would be filtered. I never got the name Guardian, i changed to this current name but wanted to change back. Changing the "d" to uppercase allows me to change it.
