What are shines?
And in regular mode, why don't we get anything extra when the bonus round activates? At least in dares there are more chests.

Shinies have a special ornament and can drop with double perks in each column

Edited by WinterSolstice: 4/16/2024 5:33:57 AMThey're extremely rare I've done an insane amount of grinding in onslaught about 3 50 waves, 1 50 legend, about 10 or so legend 10 waves, and like 15-ish matchmade runs and I don't think I've gotten a single 1 outside of the quests. I also did the raid and raid master bounty and didn't get 1 so also add those 2. Bungie's original plan was to only give players 2 weeks to get the final weapon (Technically 1 week and like 5-6 days since bungie takes the servers offline for an extra day to prepare for the dlc)

I used to grind for weapons like that, but I don't have it in me anymore, and probably never will again. Attunement doesn't even give me more of the weapons I'm trying to farm, so I could see my drops being for weapons I don't even want anyway.
