So I tried taking my friend through a raid for the first time the other day and when we got our team assembled nobody could hear me and I couldn't hear them. I saw the mic icon show but nothing was coming through. I checked all my setting in destiny and my pc. My destiny settings were set to default and my pc settings including xbox app(windows + G) were set to the correct headset and mic. I searched the internet high and low and came across other people with the same issue but the ways the fixed their problems haven't worked for me and I am at a lost. I hope this issue can be resolved soon because my friend is a new light and we are looking forward to his first raid experience
