playing stasis titan is like putting on a wheelchair to fight the neighbors pitbull
I wanted to play similar to qorvex from warframe, and well stasis titan with precious scars is the cake, but man the subclass just hurts, the butchered the stasis fragments to the point it isn't even worth running in PVE or PVP

your a icey joke like whats the use of the virtual insanity punch when it does nothing and sends the opponent back who can teleport with arc blink or solar icarus dash and then one punch combo you, and even in PVE a AOE slow does nothing when chill clip exists and you dont need to personally leeroy jenkins to a enemy that can probably gun you down in an instant upon getting up close, not to mention most mini bosses in nightfalls can one hit melee you without any DR which goes against the titans kit to get up close and survive

and the super is also cold garbage as you just a big easy target in PVP and anyone can just jump to instantly counter you and headshot you with a cloudstrike, and in PVE its also pretty mid and you have to use the exotic titan glaive in specific occasions to make it actually somewhat decent compared to every other super ability

like please bungie just make stasis titan actually worth using, it hurts trying to have fun with the subclass when I can get countered by everything that can get in eye contact, and it's crippling yourself in PVE when strand and solar exist that can do a superior job on survivability without needing to throw yourself in and hope for luck.

1 ReplyThe slide mechanic with one of the aspects is the key. It wrecks stasis walls and frozen enemies Even I didn't notice this until recently, and now the behemoth is my favorite Titan class. Pair it with an ageis scepter or that heavy grenade launcher that makes stasis walls, and one can be a real menace to PVE mobs. Toss on the exotic arms with Ageis, then activate its weapon perk and melt bosses. Read the aspects and fragments carefully. You want the one that turns stasis walls into explosive shards when you break them. There is even one that gives you damage resistance standing next to a stasis wall. When you are in your super, you can simply walk or run into them to break stasis walls or frozen enemies. Headstone on one's weapons is handy as well.

I mean stasis titan utterly obliterates riven and is not bad for this season with the artifact buffs but yeah once this Season ends it’s going back in the garbage pretty much.

3 RepliesStasis is lacking a bit compared to other subclasses especially after all the nerfs. It needs a complete rework. I play solar titan main and have since it was brought in during D1. But I've been having fun with a Cadmus ridge build paired with krait. Walls of crystal and diamond Lance's absolutely everywhere, makes for some fun game play tbh.

2 RepliesThe only thing stasis Titan is good for is griefing in pve. Nobody, and I mean nobody at all finds it enjoyable to have half a room blocked off with walls of crystal. Stasis Titan only appeals to little kids who enjoy closing off doors and griefing.

1 ReplyI feel like Stasis has decent ways to play. If I was running Stasis I would use my Hoarfrost-Z for a Stasis wall, and go for a Stasis crystal build, the purpose being damage resistance when near or behind Stasis crystals with a chance to freeze ads, slow minibosses or stun Unstoppable Champions on shatter. My weapon of choice probably being Verglas Curve for more crystals meaning more survivability on ad kills giving me free cover from crystals or an easy champ stun on Unstoppables. My aspects being Tectonic Harvest for Stasis overshield for more damage resistance and Howl of the Storm for slide melee crystals for either free damage resistance, more cover, or a minor overshield buff on shatter. My Stasis build is built around crystals whether to make cover for teammates, make cover for me to revive teammates, or to give me crystals to break for overshields. I would run this build with the Fire and Forget Stasis LFR with Vorpal in order to deal out decent boss DPS. Normally Stasis is my Hunter build but I could build my Titan around Stasis and have a decent build still.

In my opinion, it has 0 identity. What is the fantasy suppose to be for it? I would assume a [u]behemoth[/u] but its aspects do not support that fantasy. I view that as being a slow hulking beast that has incredibly survivability. 2 out of the 4 aspects deal with sliding… how is that supporting a behemoth fantasy? I think it would be interesting if behemoth Titan was inspired by the Big Daddy’s from Bioshock. Slow hulking protectors. I really want to like behemoth but where it stands now, I just can’t get around it.

I don't fully agree with you G, Behemoth Titan is at a perfect Power Level in both PvE and PvP. I can very confidently farm and speedrun GMs with it, and can very easily go Flawless and beat sweats in PvP with it (I think it used correctly, it is the best PvP titan Subclass) But it requires skill and a lot of knowledge about the game's tech and nuances to be properly viable Although I do agree that the Super could use dmg buff in PvE and a buff to its crystal creation; like making the vertical freeze radius taller on the 2nd trio of crystals and making the R1 have a better hit detection on close quarters Also, some of its aspects could use a slight QoL buff; like Cryoclasm being way more consistent at shattering and collision detection, and buffing its shatter damage in both PvE and PvP to actually ensure a kill in PvP and make it more viable in true endgame stuff in PvE Diamond Lance is fine, but fix the issue where the R1 fails to freeze enemies, it's bugged Howl of the Storm needs to actually be buffed so it creates crystals vertically and through objects, and make its cone a bit wider and crystal angle less steep and taller Tectonic Harvest should also by default start health regen and increase melee damage when recently picked up And shiver strike should do way more damage and create a bigger, longer lasting freezing radius around a PvE target, it's fine in PvP but I wouldn't mind a new melee

I have a very nice titan stasis build for checkmate pvp that is a lot of fun to use.

The only problems stasis titan had at launch were shatter, slow, freeze via nades (same as Warlocks and Hunter to a degree) the freeze one cast which everybody hated and Super DR/energy cost that's pretty much it Shiver strike was never a problem. In PvE stasis titan has never been good in PvE outside of cheesing riven with bubble or haunted caiatl with mini bubble.

In no way is stasis bad, it just got way the hell outshined. That's why it SEEMS bad. In PVP it can still control the battlefield and in PVE it can still provide great positional reinforcements. The main issue is the overshield fragment got nerfed to the ground and the only way of healing is either an exotic or Warlock rift. To top it off its power is in stopping enemies. Note: stopping. Never did I say damaging them. The reason classes like Striker is meta in PVP while having no intrinsic healing is because it's a damage based subclass. Observe Berserker in PVE as well. These guys could solo Legend Haunted Sectors on Halloween. Honestly, there's an obvious answer as to why the subclasses are imbalanced. This also explains class imbalances.

Back when Stasis was first introduced, people complained about Hunter Dunk, but Titans had a secret, that was overlooked by so many. I got 4x the hate mail using this build. Pretty much it was Kephri's Horn, with Stasis Wall, and the Stasis uper-cut ability, with Summoner or ingenious hammer, and it was beautiful. So much AOE. Id put my Tower Shiled into the Stasis wall, trigger explosion, and KH flame would munch on anyone on the other side, 1 hit to lower Shield, and back it would Kill. it was GLORIOUS!!!! It was near perfect Synergy, everything was Fuling each other. Best time of my life. I miss it.

Such as mastering cryoclasm to gain the enhanced sliding without needing dunemarchers, and if you learn some movement with cryoclasm you could learn how to slide cancel into a burst glide. The melee is definitely very gimmicky with it sometimes locking on to an opponent and then you can follow up with a quick normal melee after to secure a quick 1 shot combo, but half the time you're using it as a mobility tool. It definitely isn't super meta compared to the utility void and arc give but if you master it it's defenetly a strong contender. And sure there are a bunch of silly freezing builds with coldsnaps and diamond lances but honestly I just prefer to run glacier nades for the extra cover or if you want to play aggro, you can slide through the nade and use the shatter damage if they're up close to secure a better kill in my opinion. This is coming from a stasis titan enjoyer and by no means am I saying this is like the best pick in the game; just a little fun choice to play out of your everyday oversheild spam.
