Lost Steam Progress - Crosssave Issues
Dear Bungie,
I used to play on a Playstation account for Destiny 1, but have since switched to a Steam account for Destiny 2.
While trying to claim season rewards, I was unable to select my Steam account so that the rewards would go to the intended characters, and unlinked my Playstation account as to default the rewards to the Steam account/characters.
Now, even though I am still logging in through the Steam platform, all of my progress has been removed. To reiterate, I have never played Destiny 2 on a Playstation.
Why would removing a Playstation account effect my Steam account's progress?

5 RepliesHello there[url=https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/902560216871239752/989591085506515074/Hellothere.gif],[/url] Cross save allows you to use a single platform's save file across all platforms. Since you had cross save active and using your PSN as your active save, all progress was saved to those characters. When you deactivated cross save, that progress became available only on Playstation platforms. What you are seeing now while playing on Steam is your once dormant, Steam character's progress.
