We only promote buffed guns and armor long enough for the checks to clear, then it's NERF or nothing!
Now we can nerf your fun to oblivion! This is the way......
P.s.....sadly, it will NEVER be the same after the nerf either. Just watch.

Bruh osteo has been crazy since it was released 2 years ago and has remained one of the top primaries that entire time. If it was really about a money grab they would have nerfed it before quicksilver came out.

It deals like 39K poison damage and they're lowering it down to necrotic grips damage which is only about a 400 damage loss to each poison tick so down from about 2.5K to 2.1K which is still higher than thorn's poison which is about 1K a tick and 2.3K a tick with the perk. Edit: Also they aren't removing the fact each tick deals like 15% more than the previous tick so there's that.

Remember when Stasis first came out with Beyond Light, and how OP it was? The same concept with Striga. They've made their sales, now it will become trash. Just like Stasis. But this is a moot argument. You guys are gonna keep on about how "it's time". But won't argue about how they keep finding ways to hamstring the players for lack of creativity on their end. It is a strong weapon, agreed. I don't even use it. But they're only doing this to slow gameplay down. If it was a problem in PvP they would have nerfed it 2 years ago.

Pretty weird to say they lack creativity while complaining about stasis & osteo striga being nerfed five & six years into the game, respectively.
