so im a casual
and I don't do try hard stuff anymore.
I have been there and done that already
I hit the top 0,03% back in halo when I was a teenager
not looking to do that again ( SWEATY )
so first ill hit the casual side of things first
1) bring back freelance
2) COMP - it needs something to make a person want to hit ascended
whether it be armor, a weapon, title, etc.
I recommend armor over a weapon, cause I do not play COMP at all
already got a good roll on the sniper, and I barely use it
3) AE - AIRBORNE effectiveness - im actually happy where it sits at
but I know the PVP community hates it
I think there should be a vote across the destiny community to have it removed or have it stay
who ever gets the most votes wins
4) maps - I dont really care about, but the PVP community does
so make a few new maps
5) Iron banner - lower the points to finish the game it takes to long, and rotate games modes in it ( rift, scorched, relic. etc) also show the kills at the end of the match
6) make everything connection base
would rather have good connection over skill based match making
FOR THE TRY HARDS
7) a 3 v 3 game mode that makes ability skills( grenade and melee only) take long to regenerate or removed (except 1 super)
so there is more focus on GUN PLAY
rather then ability play FOR THE TRY HARDS
who want to out gun the other person
the game should be 3 to 5 rounds
2 mins to 3 mins each match
make the ability cooldowns like 4 mins maybe even 5 mins if you don't want to remove melee and grenade
and only 1 super is allowed,,,, and once its used
YOU CANT REGENRATE SUPERS
once they pop super they cant do it again
put a flag in the center or bomb that they have to carry
to the enemy base
thats gives them an over shield with a limited timer
until it runs out
and the flag or bomb runner is slower

make rift cast animation faster, tune down threaded specter its actually ridiculous that its become a hunter barricade that fights back, buff the consistency of coldsnap grenades tracking( the enemy could be right next to it and it climbs up walls instead), grapple should recharge a little more quickly

1) Freelance should return in 3v3 modes OR duo queuing should be banned but 6v6 is fine as is. 2) Not everyone should even have the ability to reach ascendant. Comp should use pure rank based matchmaking requirements that everyone in the match to be the same rank instead of sbmm. 3) I would like AE removed but I’m content with the way it currently is. 4) More maps is always good but improving the foundation of pvp is more important than more maps which is more of an extra. 5) IB control is set to 125 while qp control is 150. Other IB modes definitely need score tuning and I agree that kills should always be listed even in pure obj-based modes. 6) YES! IB NEEDS TO REPLACE SBMM WITH CBMM. QP Control can keep sbmm. 7) I prefer a barebones mode with no abilities at all 8) Gambit should be vaulted instead

1 ReplyI agree with most of this but the SBMM part. I think it needs to stay and in fact be much tighter. I constantly get matched against people waaay over my skill range. I want to enjoy the game not spend the whole match on the res screen. I would also add a cooldown on sliding because that crap is so out of control. people sliding forward but shotgunning behind them? like wtf is that.

CBM with the lobby balance is best. If it’s skilled based why do I feel like I have to be in every gun fight for my team to stand a chance. Someone on my team has to be able to 1 vs 1 or stay back because the enemy team runs in at least 2. But the quitters and I could be winning or close game they leave. If I leave why would I get hit with a leaver penalty or anything because a 5 vs 6 is no fun neither is 4 vs 6
