"After so long, even hell can look like heaven....
Eventually... we all have to learn to let go".
Wise words from one Chioma Esi exhausted from the toll of the Endless Night in the final containment mission for this season. What I believe will ultimately expose Osiris & his corruption. There's a difference between sacrifice and submission.
"I was... I AM selfish". That's Osiris in his pursuits... from his own mouth. He said those words. Maya was different.

1 ReplyEdited by Shockwave 989: 8/19/2023 6:48:01 PMHonestly it will never fail to amaze me how much you are capable of twisting a profound character moment and turning it into yet more “evidence” in your interconnected fanfiction. Both in Chioma’s deterioration at the loss of Maya and Osiris’s own realisation at where his own flaws have and could still lead him astray. Osiris is not some yet to be revealed villain. Maya is not some hidden saviour of existence. These are characters, who undergo growth and regression. A fact you seem to disregard entirely in the name of a last minute plot twist that would invalidate years of character progression. The very idea and hypothetical payoff of your grand narrative is utterly absurd. Don’t know why I haven’t switched to addressing readers instead of the OP yet. Oh well.

Veil Conrainment lore could've been a mass company spam email instead of how it was delivered. It was about as important as "Bob from accounting is turning 40, party in the break room at 4pm, followed by early release at 4:45"

2 RepliesIf Osiris thinks he's so good, why is too scared to enter his own trials.

2 RepliesIt's a weird feeling. As long as it expresses how individuality works and doesn't destroy the overall shape of it, I'll be ok. Asher seemed pretty at peace, I hope it is peaceful like that.

1 ReplyI believe Chioma will come back as a Vex bad guy, if she has made contact with the Vex
