Overnight extremely high latency and unstable frames everywhere
Hi,
I recently came back to the game when the DLCs were on sale, played through them and enjoyed them quite a bit, and moved on to some other content. About a month ago when I logged in I started experiencing extreme load times and massive frame drops never seen in my witch queen and lightfall playthroughs days before nor ever before in the 1400hrs of gameplay on the same rig. So that threw me away until now that solstice has started I wanted to play some more. yesterday had this issue but I figured that could be the servers experiencing heavy loads so I waited until today to try again, but this issue is still persistent.
I have tried: updating GPU drivers, changing global and in-game GPU settings to maximize performance, and clearing up disk space on all of my disks. One thing I haven't tried yet is reinstalling the game.
Checking the resource monitor for latency and packet loss I currently have 176ms in orbit (seen up to 600ms in the tower) and 0% packet loss at all times.
I am certain that my network is not the issue nor is my PC as I have played on it since Shadowkeep.
No other game that I played since then has gotten the same issue.
I included a video of myself struggling to get to the other end of the tower and speaking to rahool (well trying)
I searched for answers in steam forums, Bungie help center nothing similar to be found. Hope to resolve this and get back to the event :P
EDIT : Reinstalled the game, the issue still persists...
