Why no dlc discount when you've paid for it on another platform?!?
so my ps5 controllers have insane stick drift
idk why they both got them at the exact time
and the newer controller is worse than the older one?!?
i decided to use my xbox series s to play destiny without my characters neck snapping every 0.43 seconds
it works, doing great, nice controller, but i can't equip strand :(
well, yeah, obviously, they mentioned the dlc doesn't carry over different platforms
no biggie
but why in the hell is the dlc still 160NZD?!?!
the cheaper version still being 80NZD is insane to me
it's clear my bungie account has purchased it previously
i have strand, just sitting there in the corner of my screen
so close that i can almost taste it
just equip it

3 RepliesBecause it's out of Bungie's hands as game, dlc and in game currency are controlled by the platform providers. As one provider does not have access to your purchase on another there is no "discount" for buying it before.

Because you paid Sony for those DLCs, MS and Steam want there cut for hosting the content also For there to be a discount there would have to be an agreement between them , and with the Hot console wars raging in the court rooms and social media, that is a snowballs chance in hell And I feel you on PS5 Controllers, they are hot garbage, you will spend more for replacement controllers than you did on your PS5, If I could play PS5 with a Xbox controller I would -
