i can't believe someone actually sat down, took a look at the cloudstriders and thought "oh yeah they're going to LOVE this!"
their looks, their dialogue, their lore, everything
its like they were designed by a bunch of middle-aged men who wanted to make something cool and hip that the kids would love and turned to tik-tok to figure out what that meant
you know there are a lot of words you can use to describe the folks you'd see on tik tok; cool is not one of them

A character design that embodies the "it's my style!" art school dropout who couldn't handle criticism, voice lines that scream "am I cool yet, fellow kids?", and a "personality" that can only be described as a pandering self-insert. In short, it's just simple narcissism being represented in game, but played like it's not. It's why everyone hates them. It seems that all of Neomuna was poisoned by the lame attempt at skaterpunk/cyberpunk speech when you read the lore entries or listen to the voice lines that aren't the comically cliche News Anchor.
