Is this a familiar PVP story
Just wondering if this is anyone's familiar PVP story
Did 2 out of 7 placement matches and ended with 13.0 positive playing against blueberries, D2 assumes i must be ok and we get mapped for 5 matches straight teammates and me losing lives like xmas presents
Bungo decides im SILVER III not a top rank but my 3 placement matches have my team gettting destroyed by 1700 avg light bearers clearly PVP over PVE
One team member on enemy team had at least 12-15 kills and was clearly meant to be in a higher division than my potato squad
Whats the point of PVP ranks when you are not matched at all with players of equal skill

Along with the LEGEND LOST SECTOR ridiculousness seriiously cant wait for DIABLO 4 to start proper now

The comp playlist is SBMM, but very loose (for connection quality and matchmaking time). It’s common to have a wide variation of skill within a match. This can cause problems with team balancing. At a rough guess, I’d say 60% of my comp matches last season had evenly matched teams — which leaves a big chunk of lopsided matches. The ranking system seems to work (in my experience and according to Bungie’s data), but you need to play lots of matches so that your good and bad luck (with regards to matchmaking and lobby balancing) evens itself out over time.
