Difficulty
So im not a fan of the decision to make the game as a whole harder i did not like the hiest system where everything is always higher than us reintroduce hard mode for activities like legendary campaign minus the stupid 30 second respawn timer that does not reset and only 1 revive make the timer normal and allow us to regain lives like we do in gms and legendary lost sectors giving all guns enhanced perks and reducing craftables just makes craftables pointless minus the very expensive costs compared to depsight rewards i liked the idea of craftable weapons it was just poorly executed if you read the feedback on witchqueen then you would know the biggest complaints were about lives and respawn times as it effectively makes you have to complete it flawless

1 ReplyMaking the game harder isn't a bad idea. The issue is bungie lacks creativity and the only way they can do that is by making our gear and abilities worse.

I mean....c'mon.... Let's be honest 90% of the time in Destiny you can sneeze and clear a room of adds + a boss. Just giving the base line a small bump up is not gonna be a problem

I fought Savathun on legendary at almost 100 power below light and it was challenging but very doable The game needs an increase in difficulty to be more engaging ,,there should be a contest strike playlist with better rewards, things like that to refresh the game, because we are so busted that we just bulldoze all content immediately People are soloing GMs with ease , and not just the solo gods like Esoterric , and GMs are supposed to be the top challenge in the game besides master raids Make Destiny Great Again, give us harder content

If you thought heists were hard, then you should probably stop playing this game. 5 levels above us guardians is nothing, you barely notice it.

They have to balance making the game too trivial with being too difficult. If being 5 levels below for seraph heist missions was too difficult, then man….. I dunno what to say to you.

1 ReplyAgreed. I play solo and the latest legendary pulse rifle challenges were a -blam!- to get through, but I managed somehow, thanks to the solo damage mod. Seems like lazy programming to me, though. Bungie should have more consideration for solo players and stop always going out of their way to -blam!- us over.

When you play solo, the only thing 45sec respawn timer does is make you question - why do I still play this sh?

It would be nice that People can choose between Normal and Hard and even "Extreme Hard" for some Hardcore Players! Constantly Nerfing our Weapons and Abilities isn´t a solution!

4 RepliesTHIS. If the sweaty boys want to whine about challenge, give them legendary everything as an option. Locking main quest content behind legendary is just ridiculous. This isn't a Souls game. Defaulting to "Hard" mode does nobody any good. You're just locking out a majority of your players to please some streamers who complain a lot.

4 RepliesYeah, I’m not a fan of the base line difficulty getting raised. I’m all for choice. Give people that want to play at a higher difficulty level the choice to do so. But, please, don’t negatively impact my experience just to please those that want more challenge. I wouldn’t ask for their choice to be removed.
