I started having the same exact issue since last night. I can not even get to the character selection anymore. Prior to last night I played daily with no issues, and now I can't even play if I want to. Same situation as yourself, played fine until I got weaseled out of orbit, and now can't log in anymore.

Edited by Lord: 1/31/2023 2:54:37 PMI guess Hotfix 6.3.0.5 on 24th January 2023 really messed everything up especially player's data on server side. With Hotfix 6.3.0.6 when they rollback, it didnt fully solve those issue. Some data might be corrupted. Am waiting for Hotfix 6.3.0.7 that will deploy today and see if it will fix anything and i can login my account again. If not, i guess this might be the end for me then. With no respond and cant find any solution anywhere, i cant even login to play so no point for me to keep my Lightfall pre-order. Gonna request for refund on Steam for sure.

If the issue persists with no words from Bungie I'll also be pursuing a Lightfall refund. There is no good reason to keep loyal players locked out of our accounts with no acknowledgment of the issue. I guess if it doesn't get fixed then that's all these years and hours down the drain. Update: After the hotfix today (Jan 31st) I was able to successfully log in. Update 2: I am still experiencing the issue, I was just able to run around the tower for about 5 minutes before the weasel caught up to me again. I am now back to not being able to log in.

Ive updated game and still cant login. Issue with my account still not solve. Btw, for some reason, on character selection screen still showing version 6.3.0.6 instead of the new Hotfix 6.3.0.7. Can you check yours if its the same?

I'm not even able to get to my character screen anymore. As soon as I go past the Witch Queen launch screen it just tells me "Destiny 2 servers not available." and keeps me in a loop of loading into that message.

Yeah saw your post. Exactly same issue here. As for me its been a week now cant even login to my account. Feel really bad and what makes it worst is none of Bungie team ever respond to this issue until now.

Ok guys as you can see in the Twitter bungie verified the issue about character deleting etc.. I already download do 6.3.0.7 but it still shows 6.3.0.6 so it might be actual fix for us. I think we have to wait a little bit more

Yeah i just noticed too that my game version is still showing previous one.

It also happened to zavalr who is famous around d2. So I believe bungie will fix it cause of her. They dont care us for sure but they might care her.

Till 12 PST or 3 PST? Also can confirm game version is still backdated to the .6 variant even after update. Logged into wifes account and works great. Zavalr got routed to the help forums as well so lets see what happens with that lmao.

They just extended it again to 2PM PST. And yeah i think most of us who is facing this issue is having previous game version instead even after updated it.
