Focusing costs will be fine. Playing the game normally and not dumping currency into garbage will get you plenty.
The 7 engrams thing is also in place because of the fact it negates the need to actually be successful in said activities. You lose for a few hours and get the same rewards the people who won.

Id like to point out most of the focusing for armor is for sets you cannot get from world drops anymore so just playing the game wont help 7 engrams is far too much especially for trials and iron banner

I win here and there. My gripe with Trials is how it breaks up the teams afterwards. If your not doing freelance and go into the Mode. Get paired with good players and your team does well... You should have an option to leave or stay. Most times I am with randoms vs full teams since there's no freelance all the time.

You can make your own team that doesn't disband. Trials is a team based mode. Dice rolling randoms is a choice. It's smarter and you'll have a better time if you didn't do that. People throw for rep gain all the time btw. It's faster than fighting back if you really don't want to try to win

Idk about that. Who wants to lose 2-3 games in row? Hours is a total mental failure

People throw themselves off the edge of the map to farm loses in trials for loot. The most recent Iron Banner had 6 stacks farming losses to get fast rep gains. People will definitely lose on purpose to get free loot
