More controller settings regarding deadzone and more

This has been a long discussed topic that has carried on throughout the years of destiny and destiny 2. I personally love and enjoy this game but at times theres only so much effort i can put into playing. For one the aiming sensitivity should not be equal to our look sensitivity. Another issue i’d like to state is about the game’s default deadzone I believe it is set in game at around 25. I can understand why you all as a whole would set it as that to reduce the amount of drift occur for your fanbase and the community as a whole and the ability to change deadzones to out liking would arise in those problems. I only do strongly believe the lack of custom deadzones is killing the controller community as a whole the much more competitive or even casual players do not enjoy the stiffness and clunky of the movement in the game. My fingers will move the joystick and only half the input will be received into the game. Im very passionate about this topic because i have lots of friends i want to start playing destiny 2 with me but they can never get over the movement/deadzone the game has to offer especially when they come from games with the option like Call of Duty, Fortnite and Rocket League. The addition of deadzones to Destiny 2 could be very much game changing it you’d like a suggestion have the minimum deadzone option and .3(or).5 watever yall see fit and maximum deadzone option as .99 (the deadzone option should be effective to both sticks right and left) this will increase the players the ability to feel like they have more power and control for themselves when experiencing the game. Also a separate horizontal and vertical look sensitivity would be great as well. The also accomadate the deadzone issue allow players the obtion of different repsonse curves such as linear, raw input, exponential and delay. Traction should also be directly implemented into to the character or be set as a toggle option available for all players beginning of the game. Kbm have the ability to change there dpi to neglect the non usage of traction. Theres no reason destiny 2 should feel like a heavy and stiff game when it comes to controller settings. When i first look at the game it gives me a spacial feel and it seems like the game would be light. But it is quite the opposite. Aim smoothing is also an option yall can look into that can always benefit the player base even more. Thanks for taking the time to read this i know it was alot just my honest thoughts on the matter i love this game too much lol [spoiler]Moderator edit: This thread has been updated with tags that are more appropriate. • I 100% agree with this. It's the one thing stopping from getting back into destiny after playing apex for so long. I would love to see these changes, especially with deadzones, makes it hard to be precise especially with snipers.
