It's a temp game mode. It'll be gone next reset and nobody is even forcing you to play it.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but weren't you doing some sort of virtual sit-in for a perk change on the Sweet Business?
-
I was but I got banned for over a week so the chain was lost.
-
Damn the Man! I was quite impressed by your commitment to your cause. Either that, or you should BE committed for it. I don't know, I only have a passing knowledge of such things, lol.
-
I just wanted SB to be good and they gave me multiple warnings for "spam". When I made the posts not to be considered as spam, they banned me saying it was "ban avoidance" or something. Little sissy boys over at d2 mod team it seems. Sitting behind their computer looking for a reason to ban someone they don't like.
-
Some people say annoyance, others say persistence. If player feedback received more feedback from Bungie, even something as simple as an acknowledgement, such methods wouldn't be necessary.
-
Exactly. A simple "Can Sweet Business get a PvE buff" isn't going to be seen by them so I have to male do with daily posting here.
-
So I understand clearly, you want it buffed in PvE?
-
Yup. That's it. The only use case it has is ad clear but volatile, voltshot and incandescent all do that job better. It can be fun in PvP so I figured Target Lock would be the best for it since people die too quickly for target lock to even do anything in PvP. But in PvE, this perk is basically made for the gun.
-
That's a relief. It's not that it's unstoppable in PvP, but I catch myself unconsciously grinding my teeth every time I hear one spin up in Crucible. But, that's a me issue.
-
Haha yeah it doesn't really need a PvP buff. I've just been wishing it had a usecase outside of that because I love how the gun feels.
-
I really need to stop fiddling about and finish the cat for that. Actually, I've got several to complete, but with Champ mods and required subclasses and all, I've back-burnered them all except the MIDA in IB.
-
Yeah IB really has sucked up my playtime too. Been using Hunter in it just because it had more IB armour pieces. Saw all the people complaining about void bubble and thought "Why weren't you all crying when Fortress wasn't in the game?" I got teabagged using SB and void titan on my 2nd game playing Fortress and was super confused like "What did I even do?"
-
You were ahead of the curve. If you waited to use the Business until Saturday night/yesterday, players would have lined up and emoted as you cut them down like wheat before the scythe.
-
And that's what happened. I was top fragging on SB in the early games because SBMM hadn't caught up with me yet so I could abuse the fact that the little kids were playing with Travis Scott playing over their game so they couldn't hear me revving up SB.
-
Mood music to get them in the right frame of mind, perhaps? LMAO
-
Hahaha more like trend music to look cool to their 14 year old classmates 🤣
-
It was the 90's when I was 14, and the music I listened to then gets played on CLASSIC ROCK stations now. I have no idea what qualifies as trendy anymore. Sweet Baby J, I've turned into my dad. SIGH...
-
Dude. I'm 23 and all I listen to these days is classic dad rock 😂 At least when I'm on my Titan that is. Gotta keep it low though to hear the Invis sound effect LMAO
-
In my defense, I main solar hunter in crucible, so I absolve myself of what's become unlovingly known as the "HUNTER CRUTCH."
-
Pfft you're all good. 80% of the playerbase is a hunter player so it's no wonder that they go unchecked when the only people talking about it are a vocal minority.
-
I appreciate it. I've tried the other classes, but just can't get right with them. I've used hunter-esque classes in games that have such options for years, and it's what feels comfortable to me now. Old dog, new tricks, I guess.
-
Same with me and Titan. When I was a kid I wanted to be the cool gunslinger Hunter but that was in 2017. I grew up since then, started powerlifting anf realised being the Tank is my true calling. Started maining Reinhardt and Roadhog in Overwatch, then Inaros and Chroma in Warframe. Now I come back to D2 in 2020 and realise that Titan is what suits me best.
-
I get that, sort of like War from Darksiders. Me? I'm roughly 5'7" and anywhere between 120-135lbs. When I was doing construction for the better part of 5 1/2 years, I got lean instead of bulky. Sure, I was cut like a bag of dope, but my frame just isn't built for mass. So, naturally, I gravitate towards the quick, stealthy classes. No serious power, more "death from 1000 cuts," you know?
-
Yeah man it was my calling. I love darksiders too. I also love playing stealth too; it can be fun. It doesn't suit me as much but it certainly feels good to sneak up on a point with drang and assassinate someone.

Truthfully, I think the whole thing for me started with my PS1. First game I owned for it was Metal Gear Solid. The whole premise of taking my time, even going the long way around just to avoid detection and confrontation in order to complete an objective fit like a glove. Undoubtedly a major reason I suck at PvP. I'm not very good at rushing into the fray and prefer deliberate and calculated movements. Otherwise, I probably just look like an unhinged idiot doing the spray-and-pray schtick due to the time constraint.
