Trials is not broken, it is THE PvP endgame. You're going to fight sweats and teams as much as anyone else you might find. YOU are launching solo that means the game is being forced to try and find you 2 more people for your team, very very little people want to go in with only 2 because hey might as well lfg for a third. This means you're likely to find another solo person before you could find a 2 stack and now it's you and another solo so you know where this is going, the games only option is to find a third solo. That's why it feels like when you solo queue you mostly end up with other solos but the fact of the matter is you're doing it to yourself. When the option was first added it was specifically stated that being able to launch the mode as 1 or 2 people is a function that exists purely to introduce you to the mode and that is all. Now do I agree that freelance should always be an option for people scared of lfg or waiting for their buds to get online? Actually yes I do but since people also want to hold on to flawless pool so they can wait for the last day and just Walt's their way to the lighthouse no problem I don't see it ever being permanent until flawless pool is gone as to avoid splitting the player base for the mode 4 different ways

It seems like you realize that you're at a disadvantage when you solo-queue. Here's an idea: find a team. Until Bungie implements Fireteam-based matchmaking, you will always be at a disadvantage when playing Solo

I disagree, Bungie is developing another game, that's the only way all of these terrible decisions and bugs make sense ... because no one is working on this game. They're all working on the mobile games because remember, Bungie took money from that "Chinese company" to develop a mobile game, and Sony bought them specifically to develop mmorpgs and mobile games. I'd be willing to bet that Destiny is being run by interns and first or second year employees.

The worst problem to me is cross play 👍 it's like adding on an additional modifier that turns PvP into a survival horror game 🤣 Kind of tired of being killed by a player that's face planting into a wall then vanishing like they are Houdini 🤙

Is trials really worth the clear frustration for you? I mean… really? Maybe you should just stay out of trials permanently. It’s not worth the effort and frustration. I never played trials, and I find my time in this game more enjoyable without going into what is clearly the one of the most infamous pvp modes in the history of gaming. Trials gear is t wirth your time. Let it go.

Trials only has one skill based matchmaking system.... that is YOU deciding that you are good enough to play and win. This has been the case since Trials was created way back in Year one of D1. Not everything in Destiny is for everyone. Bungie will not hold your hand so you get easy victories in everything you do. Sometimes you gave to stand up alone and decide for yourself if you are good enough for a hard core pvp mode made to challenge the best pvp players in the game. As a wise man once said "if you can not take the heat stay away from the fire".
