Nah, makes too much sense.
Instead they should buff 1k Voices Air Efficiency by +20.
That'll fix everything, trust me.

I would honestly love to see majority of this games problems be solved come Lightfall. Yeah it’s presumed to be a Shadow Keep size expansion. But what it lacks in content it can make up for with solutions to ongoing problems we’ve been experiencing. Not to mention the quality of content we receive can be worthwhile. But who knows, only Bungie does I guess.

Yeah tbh Whisper was probably one of the worst options to give that "Buff" to lol its hard to top that decision with a worse one.

I mean they gave DARCI a 10+ cooldown on the jolt which means it only adds an extra like 25K damage to the total output.

True, its a shame these Heavy snipers didnt get much love, i would love to have different options for both PvP and PvE that are still viable. Would be nice if all Heavy snipers have a special Trait where you can pick up Heavy and Special ammo but every Heavy brick adds extra DMG shots at the end of the Magazine (with a cap). So Heavy Snipers could potentially be used for PvP but with this trait above they would only offer a similar amount of damage output as any other Special Sniper. In PvE it would at least this would give us more versatility with the weapon as well as more overall Damage output. In terms of proper buffs they could've done a number of things, give Whisper Focus Fury or Darci Firing Line.

The worst part is Whisper DID have potential it was almost catching up to the total of a linear and had pretty good dps another 10% buff and like 3 more bullets could've saved the gun but the flinch change made it worse than before to the point I can't use it since now it's too much effort for a gun that basically is slightly weaker than a linear. One thing I do wanna point out is I think Bungie is going to nerf legendary linears because currently they are beating every other weapon even Sleeper struggles and Sleeper used to be meta after it got massively buffed which I'm not sure I really agree with that over making other weapons viable. If they do nerf it then Whisper might be good just like how Xeno was because everything else was terrible not because it was good.

Yeah pretty much my consensus on it too, i used Whisper against Oryx and it was pretty fun to use something different, still i thought to myself that my other LFR's would've done the job a lot more efficiently. I would've preferred if they buffed other Heavy weapons that are with the purpose of committing to Boss DPS instead of nerfing things that have a lack of equal competition.
