Please put Lost Sector exotics into the World loot pool

Lots of the new exotic armor pieces are great, but it’s extremely frustrating that you can only get the new stuff from a single activity that only has a chance at giving you what you want on a specific day. I really don’t want to spend hours of my time doing Master Lost Sectors solo just to be rewarded with exotics I already got in Year 1, low stat purple or blue gear, or absolutely nothing at all. Back in D1, it was exciting to get exotics because they were rare and could be obtained from anywhere in the game, so you were randomly rewarded for simply doing what you liked and felt lucky. I really want to see D2 have that feeling again. You can still have Master and Legend Lost Sectors as a system so people can target specific pieces, but don’t have them be the only method of getting the only new exotic armor pieces. It adds unnecessary FOMO to the game and is just not a fun system overall because 1. They are not fun to grind out 2. They have low drop rates 3. They have a bloated and unrewarding loot pool, even with the specific slot focus 4. They’re restricted to a daily lockout, which is incredibly inconvenient for people who want an armor piece, but don’t have the time to play for it that day. It also makes it literally impossible to earn certain exotics on most days of the week At the very least, cycle out older exotics into the world loot pool and have the latest ones featured in the Lost Sectors. Keeping them locked behind LS is pointless, especially since they’re added to the world pool anyway after you earn them the first time.

  • The problem with this is that people complained that exotics being in the world loot pool meant you never knew when you'd get one, and there was no way to work toward getting one with purpose. People wanted a purpose-driven method of grinding for exotics. That being said, the issue still lies with Bungie. They almost always "fix" things by making them worse. We still need a game development studio to invent something better than RNG. It's lazy and unimaginative, and there has to be a better way to deal with loot.
