Revenet feeling pretty weak in pvp

The nerfs were deserved and needed but now the kit seems like the weakness in the game by a large margin. Shurikens do 45 on direct hits and 30 on bounce, tracking isn't great either. (The slow on those are effective when you can get them to land) The slow on duskfield grenades is not effective as they can be slid, icarus dashed, hunter dodged through without slowing down the The super is pretty bad as the super comes out slow, the tracking on the initial throws is inconsistent and storm is very slow. What are everyone's opinion's? Is revenant now one of the worst subclass or am I just using it wrong?

  • Super is solid and does its job of crowd control and shut-down very well. Squall isn’t supposed to be lethal in PvP, it’s supposed to get people to move/run away. It’s a hunting partner, don’t expect it to pick up kills if you aren’t supporting it. It’s a trade off for its potential. Melee is about chasing people down and is a good utility pick. Fast cooldown + gambler’s dodge means very high uptime. They’re fast and get tags so long as you’re throwing them in the general vicinity. You need to have Whisper of Durance on if you want to make the most of Stasis hunter in PvP. This doubles the slow duration of this ability and the slow stacks from Squall. Shatterdive is fine, stasis crystals need a SLIGHT buff in PvP. Shatterdive is a moment ability with a little damage tacked on. One-shotting should never have been a thing. You can use it to get chip damage though or quickly dunk on someone hit by silence. Stasis grenades have great crowd control and hunter gets the enhanced grenade aspect. Duskfield has a very fast cooldown and a wide area. Throw it on a choke point or zone to instantly force enemies off. It also prevents heavy from being pick-up-able by the enemy team. Amped frostbolts are scary too, just not as spammable as Osmiomancy. The only parts of revenant’s kit I think is underpowered are Stasis Shards (which is applicable for every class) and the slow dodge (which could use an additional effect: maybe “defeating slowed enemies reduces dodge cooldown” or something.)
