Iron Banner Daily Challenge Rep Gain Bug
Is this being addressed? I'm aware Bungie were investigating having more than 5 pieces of IB Gear impacting rep gain however this can obviously be amended by taking off a piece whereas if you play 3 characters and have now completed all Daily Challenges on them your rep gain has reduced by 80% each game.
Is this being looked into and what is the likelihood of it being patched prior to reset? Was kinda looking to earn that Iron Lord title...

5 RepliesYou can’t have more than 5 pieces of IB flair between emblem, ornaments and armor. Change it to 4 and itll progress fast

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 6/4/2022 4:08:19 PMSeems Bungie have fixed some things in Iron Banner (still needs plenty of work & changes to scoring etc) Iron Banner challenges will now correctly grant reputation bonuses, up to the max of 4 daily challenges. Because of this issue, 2x Iron Banner reputation has been enabled for all players until the weekly reset. 💠The Heavy as Death emblem will now correctly contribute towards Iron Banner reputation bonuses (As it should - it’s ultra rare - less than 0.75% of the playerbase have this) 💠 Step 5 of the Forging Iron quest will now progress correctly, even with Iron Banner ornaments equipped 💠 Deepsight Weapons will now correctly progress in all activities

It will be fixed in 8 weeks just in time for the final iron banner of the season. So they can keep people playing longer than they normally would.

Its absolutely appalling. I cant even believe a game breaking glitch like this is happening in a aaa title. A complete waste of my hard earned free time. I am pissed.

3 RepliesYup can confirm happening to me and my buddy. He’s at 15x multiplier and I’m at 13x and we went from getting 334+ Rep a game to 44/66 per game now. Which at mythic3 & Legend is an absolute slog of a grind. I tried to power thru it but it’s absolutely game breaking. Challenges Completed: 6/4 Gear Equipped: 5/5 Emblem: 1/1 Multiplier 15.40x Rep after game: 44……… Seriously Bungie? 🤬🤬🤬

It would be good to get a response from the bloody company Instead of just remaining silent about the situation. I don't see anyone from bungie coming forward about the situation like WTF this is your game. Let as know what's gonna be done we only get 2 events a season farksake

1 ReplySame here, was looking to grind out iron lord seal but with the rep bug it's impossible gaining 66 for a win and 44 for a loss. The fact that it was ignored in the twab doesn't give the impression it will be fixed anytime soon. How can an event that is only around 2 weeks and only one game mode ship with bugs in every aspect?

i've seen it as well i won a IB match and only got 3 -blam!- rep for it lmao, welp i won't be able to reset my rank coz of this i'm at rank 10/17 bungie really are pathetic >.>

Will most likely be fixed for the next IB. Can't see them fixing something that makes players grind for a longer time to be fixed fast. It's Bungie that we are talking about.

You know, make a functioning, playable game while also doing their due diligence and play testing stuff before putting it out. But hey what do I know, I’m just a loyal idiot consumer 😒

Indeed, I’ll be on track to finish all but the resets. It’s pretty crazy I’m still in heroic rank despite doing dailys/triumphs across 3 characters. Settle to finish during next banner is likely if fixed

Some of these issues aren’t bugs. Bungie throttled us long before
