This thread just reads like a laundry list of hunter mains defending their crutch. It’s obviously over tuned when 80% of every lobby is an invis hunter.
It’s actually pathetic to see 4-5 players on each team invis the majority of the game. What kind of game is Bungie trying to make? Cause this ain’t it son.

Made the hunter the way there supposed to be built and played and yet, others complain because they don't know how to complete!!! If you all can't hang find another game to play, and if you don't like the challenge in crucible then stop playing! All you complaining because, you don't have strategy it's no different then playing against titans and warlocks. At this moment all three characters are balanced, nothing needs to be changed. Bungie keep up the awesome work and all have a wonderful day.
-
Lol... You have 2 locks and a hunter. Talk about a crutch.

Edited by Desolator0: 3/2/2022 5:32:34 AMI fought a full team of Graviton invisible Hunters in Competitive who were permanently invisible the entire game unless they were in your face with a shotgun or crouched around a corner with a Chaperone/Main Ingredient. Hunters in this thread are obviously all defending their hilariously broken crutches because they don't want to get into real gunfights where they aren't off the radar, out of sight, and without a special weapon.

Edited by SirHeadPoppington: 3/4/2022 12:10:55 AMNot defending, it's very good because of not showing up on radar and the up time is way too high, but invis doesn't make you 'out of sight', at all. It does almost nothing in pvp in terms of actual invisibility.
-
It sure is more difficult to see them than had they not been invisible though. You can't deny that it's a least a little harder to see them, especially on some maps where it's especially bright.
-
A little yeah at long ranges, mostly just purple though
-
Ever thought you see majority on void right now because it all just got reworked and they enjoy using new things? No? Just because you call it a "crutch"? Alright.
-
But it is a crutch, before stasis damn near every hunter ran invis, now its just being noticed because the dont have shatterdive to noob u with! Why is it all Hunter mains gotta play like a scared little -blam!-?
-
You do realize that was the only neutral game Stasis had right? And Invis is literally the only thing Nightstalker has? I use GG. Always have. Love Tripmines. But complaining about the only thing a subclass has is really stupid, regardless of class
-
When Competitive (and soon to be Trials) is nothing but 3v3 permanently invisible Hunters running Graviton you know it's probably a crutch and probably broken. You are coping mega hard if you think otherwise. When Trials comes around and it's the same story, I can't wait to see Hunter mains defending their crutch then.
-
And I'll still go to the Lighthouse. You're seeing it all over right now because it's new. It's the new toy. Itll chill out in a few weeks. And I'll go back to Gunslinger and wait for Solar 3.0
-
We'll see about that.
-
Coming from a warlock who prolly uses stag and arc soul. Foh stop crying
-
Edited by Lazareous: 3/1/2022 7:03:14 PMIt's probably be because most people are playing around with all the reworked void subclasses and hunters make up the majority of the pvp player base. It's not surprising to see everyone using void in pvp right now it's a bit of a change up to the stale way the games played for a while. It's not like when stasis launched and if you weren't using it you were at a massive disadvantage
-
Edited by Darkwolfpuppy: 3/1/2022 10:46:23 PMThis. Especially with shatter dive hunters. Don't pretend you didn't rage because of how broken stasis was at launch. We essentially were playing "freeze the enemy in place for free kill".
-
*Throws Smoke Bomb* Pssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh
-
That is because its new. Also 100% of the titans use overshield and 100 % of the warlock use child of the old gods. Your point? You nerfed everything else so we hunters simply move on to the next best thing. After invis nerf you will all cry about tripmines .
-
Lol, the dude went like : I didn't read your reply at all because it goes against my opinion and muted you x) I mean, your argument makes obvious sense. New stuff + more hunters in general = More hunters running said new stuff. And since Bungie made Nightstalkers all about Invis and debuff, what else did the guy expect?😂

Dude don’t even start. I’ve given you the benefit of the doubt before but I’m not in the mood today. Sick of you defending every hunter crutch in the game. It’s a long time coming. Take care and have fun living your life on the forums. I for one will hear no more of it. You really need to make some real friends.
muted
Except they arent crutches. They are basic abilities everyone can use. You people litterally cry over EVERYTHING as long as its a hunter ability.
-
They are crutches smoothbrain
-
Except they are not. Because those same hunter would have killed you even without invis. Because invis does litterally nothing special in pvp. Oh it removes you from radar ...yeah so does crouching and sliding.
-
You don’t know how the human brain works. Invis makes you semi-transparent which takes an extra few milliseconds to process. It is a blatant advantage for no cost and guarantees a kill presuming equal skill.
-
It costs an ability. You know...the same ability slot that would otherwise instakill you.
