Why do people always need to see themselves as victims?? Just because something isn't FOR you, doesn't mean someone is doing something TO you. Bungie feels they have an organizational mission to build communities. So they want their game....especially more difficult end-game activities to be played in groups that are actively talking and socially interacting. In the hope that their game will be a springboard to friendships....even ones that might carry into the real world. Former CM DeeJ once spoke to this directly on this forum during Y1 of the game. The community was mad so it fell on deaf ears at the time. But to those of us listening it gave a fair amount of insight into how Bungie viewed their game, and what they wished to accomplish with it. So Bungie doesnt' hate solo players. They just don't see their game as one being like Assassin's Creed or Uncharted where you play alone from start to finish. Just because someone wants to cook steak, doesn't mean they hate pizza.
