In year 1 we got a vault space increase with the warmind expansion, then shortly after with Forsaken.
It's been almost 3 and a half years now since we got our last vault space increase.
And to everyone who doesn't have vault space issues: "i don't care at all. You are either a new player, do not target farm loot or are simply incapable of understanding what players in a looter shooter do. Collect things."
And with the constant meta shifts and also as a player who played since day 1, it is simply unacceptable to still only have the vault size from Forsaken.
I don't care about technical limitations. I don't care whatever is the cause. I paid and always will pay good money to the games development and see nothing in return regarding concerns like this. These problems need to be solved. You had 3 and a half years to do so.

I agree, with meta shifting and things going up and down I honestly can't afford to delete anything. I tried my best to remain god rolls on each purpose and currently has 10 space to go. And yet 50 weapons... yikes. I'll be out.
-
Vault space is your problem. You've had 3 years to cull it.
-
Delete some weapons to make space??? You surely don’t use everything in there…
-
has the idea of ever cleaning out your vault ever come across your mind?
-
3 RepliesStop asking, stop hording. Delete everything u NEVER USE.
-
have you guys ever considered cleaning your vault out?
-
500 spaces is plenty
-
1 ReplyYou don't need more vault space. You want more vault space. There's a difference.
-
1 ReplyClean your vault. I have 3.5k hours on d2 and have 305 spaces available.

6 RepliesThey blame "technical limitations". What are you limited by? D1 was limited because it was made for PS3 and Xbox 360, and even then they were able to increase the Vault every expansion. But D2? The only console you're limited by is the PS4 and Xbox One. And both consoles are still pretty powerful. Not to mention the DCV is gutting at least a third of the game if not more every year. There is no excuse for not giving us more space.

I’d love to know how much of your stuff has been collecting dust for years.
-
Well, the weapon crafting will hopefully help with that. Dunno what to say other than you need to learn to manage your Vault space better.
-
Delete the hoosegows
-
I got down to 230 in my vault. Most of what I trashed was legendary armor I never even used.
-
They’re relying on this soft sunset for players to delete many weapons, in favor of “upgrades.”

They had a early access and QandA session with streamers and they said no more vault space because of technical limitations But after you craft God roll weapons you will probably delete half your vault -
1 ReplyI just Deleted 100 items from my Vault. All useless.
-
It ain’t coming.
-
1 ReplyDon’t worry, you’re going to get a nearly empty vault on the 22nd after you throw everything in the trash that has sunset 😎
-
1 ReplyWith weapons with more than two traits why would use keep anything you don't use the majority of the time. That's on you homie

“Soon” in Eververse 🤔

They did say that armour affinity will be cheaper to change, this should free up some slots. For sure I would like more vault space though
-
Game could use more vault space when running three characters especially with the introduction of stasis armor. Guess the only vault that will never be full is the DCV lol Like a fellow member said…they have reskinned, recycled, reintroduced, and repurposed so much stuff that now the enemies have our supers !!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I bet the next enemy race will be wearing D1 armor lol I can’t make this stuff up

11 RepliesWhat?? The vault has 500 spaces that is nearly double what the game launched with. That is more space than any looter shooter and most mmo games. And you want more.... no game has infinite storage space. If Bungie did increase the vault how long would it be until you fill up the extra space again and come crying for more. No the problem is your item management skills. If you are like most complaining about this you have multiple god rolls of the same item and kit that "if Bungie buffs this mod it becomes god roll". You don't need that much. Learn some item management skills.
