An app to help you maximize your stats

Greetings Guardians! I’ve been working away on my Armor Optimization app (Destiny Armor Optimizer, or DAO for short, originally released in 2020 but newly updated). This app helps you find your optimal armor set. You pick your exotic, then tell it what stats you want. Then, the app tells you what armor sets will do that for you. If there are no armor sets that can give you the stats you want, the app will tell you how far away you are. You can start high, then slowly lower your expectations until it finds something! I’ve recently added a bunch of quality-of-life features. I know there are other apps out there that do similar things, but please give mine a try if you're curious - I welcome any feedback! Ultimately I just have fun programming, and playing destiny, so this app has been a way to flex both. Handy features to be aware of: DAO will exclude sunsetted armor by default. That means that any armor that can’t be upgraded to current max light will be excluded from your search. Note: if you want to intentionally INCLUDE sunset armor, I've added a switch for that. You can choose the number of masterworks you're willing to make (min=0, max=5) for the armor set. DAO will tell you how many tiers off your best possible armor set is from what you've asked for. E.g., if you ask for 100 Int and 90 Str, but your best possible combo only gets you to tier 100 Int and 80 str, the app will tell you that you're off by 1-tier. You can then either lower your expectations, or tell the app you'll masterwork some more items (if not already at max), and then you can ask it again. DAO will tell you which character your items are currently on, or if they’re in the vault, making it easier to find the item when you go looking for it. DAO will let you transfer entire armor sets to your characters. NOTE: equipped items will be ignored (they can't be transfered, and the only way to do a transfer would be to try to force an item switch FOR you). It is recommended that for now, if there's an equipped item identified in an armor set, and you want to move it, that you use the Companion app to do so. As noted above DAO WILL tell you what items are equiped, and on which character - so finding them will be easy. Warning: right now DAO assumes positions are static unless it moves something itself. It is aware when it moves something, but if you do something off screen (say, delete an item, or equip something) DAO won’t know about it unless you restart the app. I will add functionality for this in a later release. It shouldn't be a problem so long as you're optimizing one character per session. DAO will report to you what mods you need to equip to get the stats you requested.
