Crucible maps
The fact that we have had no new crucible maps in 770+ days should be the biggest issue for players. One of the top developers out there and cannot give consistent PvP content WTF Bungie!!!! (don't get me started on the rotting corpse that is Gambit)

10 RepliesI played Halo Infinite today for the first time. I know the Halo comparison is an old one but it serves as a great example of how fun a PVP game can be. I played a mix of game types from the enormous list, enjoyed matches with and without vehicles, with different team sizes, different rules, different weapons on a selection of unique and superbly designed maps. Playing a game like this really highlights how bad Destiny’s PVP is. It’s not lack of maps; it’s basically everything except for the gun play itself (which I think is still the best in the market).

2 RepliesYou're absolutely correct. I'm not one of those people on here that constantly spews negativity towards the game, quite the opposite in fact, I defend this game where possible. Their disregard for pvp is an absolute joke though. Its a huge reason an enormous proportion of the game's population continue to play. It's not just pvp though, it's all of the core playlists. Since the game went ftp and therefore those playlists went ftp,they've received no support at all. Strikes, pvp and gambit all went to the bin. They all need work. Now.

2 RepliesWe need more core content. New crucible maps and strikes a redesign of gambit. I'd happily ditch the seasonal activity shite for new crucible maps and strikes each season. We've had between 4-7 years of the same -blam!- strikes and crucible maps. All the playlists need a massive refresh. I've never seen a developer/publisher this slow to make content.

I think they made a video saying that new maps are coming but it’s gonna take a while.

6 RepliesPvP a side mode Always been will always be So what happen in those 700+ days? Oh yea support of a mega corporation drop than covid..... They had to make choice and cuts...PvP hot the short end ....which is smart because the last time they focused on PvP it almost killed the game I understand the frustration... But you have to think a bit and not just be mad

1 ReplyWell they did say that a month or two ago they finally put together a team to start working on new maps. Yep for years they haven’t even had anyone even working on them. I guess it’s good they are working on them now but it’s insane to me that they didn’t have a team this entire time. I’m guessing the pvp team was entirely on Activisions side and since the split in 2019 they haven’t even thought about new pvp content. If you think about it that way it makes sense but it’s crazy that they didn’t immediately put someone on it. And yeah they keep mentioning they want to improve gambit too but honestly give us more than 3 maps and the people who like gambit ( me and my clan at least) would enjoy it more. Bungie didn’t use to be like this. Back in their halo days they put out maps constantly even if it split the player base because you had to buy them. Hell if they put out a map pack tomorrow you had to buy with 3 new crucible maps and 1 or 2 gambit maps I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

1 ReplyUnless you stopped giving a damn about PvP since D2 started. Just give us back D1 PvP with all it's maps and glory and I'd started playing PvP for the actual fun of playing it. As an added incentive for such a move I'm betting the majority of people would be willing to sacrifice Gambit to the DCV for such a move!!!
