I recently got my own Xbox account as I was sharing with my family. I had my account synced to my Steam account so I had all of my gear from my Steam profile. However, to change the Xbox account that was synced I had to disable Cross save to change the connected Xbox account. Is there any way to get around the 90-day restriction because all I did was change my linked Xbox account? I really would like to continue my progress since I have progress from the Forsaken DLC and have exotics that are vaulted and would be a pain to get back again. Waiting 3 months while my friends all get ahead of me would really suck.

Allo there, The 90 day cooldown is part of Bungie's cross save policy and as such can't be reduced or removed. Cross Save FAQ
Can I disable Cross Save once I’ve enabled it? Cross Save is intended to be a one-time action, but we realize there may be cases in which you want to visit the characters you left behind. Once Cross Save has been disabled, you will have access to your original characters on each platform. There is a 90-day wait to re-enable the feature. This policy exists to discourage activity like account recoveries by other players.
Bungie does not under any circumstances remove the lock-out period. This is a security measure to stop account recoveries.
