Exotic auto rifles need a buff in pve. Pvp they do the job (one can argue that the job they're given is too be completely worthless during the forever handcannon meta). In pve activities exotic auto's are 100% pointless. The legendary auto's are 100× better just because you can get a god roll or damage perks, unlike the exotic auto's. Hardlights decent for shield elements but you'd never bring it into a grandmaster (I don't want exotic auto's too be buffed to where they're required for grandmasters, thats just an example I used). I genuinely couldn't tell you what kind of buff they need, maybe bonus damage against minor threats, more shield damage? They just need some love is what I'm trying too say.
