Don't bother mate.
I just ran it and got a 1330 Hoosegow and some "high stat" armour of a Pathfinder Helm at 53 and a Prodigal Helm at 58. Trash.
Its even more tedious than the original and shows just how creatively bankrupt this game is.

Yep armor is trash this season.
-
Creatively bankrupt? No. Its because you cry if there's lack of content. You don't want give them time to be more creative. It's like a 9-5 office job on Microsoft word and sending a few emails or like my job as a mechanic. It takes months and months to develope and to make sure it actually functions.
-
this is why you have the job you have.
-
A job which actually requires common sense.
-
keep telling yourself that.
-
Yes I actually have to use my brain. Not sit on computer all day.
-
sure thing
-
Not true at all, I’d rather a content drought and they produce excellent content rather than drip feed sub par content non stop.

Keep crying. Your tears are delicious. If you actually believe what you wrote then you are beyond help. Do you genuinely believe that adding more enemies that are harder to kill and removing matchmaking takes "months and months to develop", and where is the "high stat" armour drops they promised ?? .. I got stuff in the 50's and my clan mates got no better. But keep defending them. You probably defended Eververse as well didn't you by saying they had to feed their families and those £10 armour sets are totally worth it. Harbinger .. creative. Presage .. Creative. This is lazy game design and utterly pointless. Who wanted a Legendary version of Astral anyway.

Are there still any effective consistent ways to get high stat Armor?
-
The umbral focusing gives good armour, you can use old decoders too. Master VoG is also an excellent source.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 10/20/2021 3:44:54 PMAside from Prophecy The other two Dungeons (Pit & Throne) are supposedly sources of high stat armour (that’s what Bungie said a while back)
-
Pit boss is high stat, nowhere else in There though.
-
@Chucky, is it farmable? Or does it only drop high stat Armor on the first boss completion?
-
Thanks Demon. I will try those two dungeons as well... Guess going about it solo (for farming purposes) is not the way to go?
-
Edited by Axolotl_Roadkill: 10/20/2021 8:24:43 AMYou can solo Pit, no problem. Shattered throne is a bit more difficult. Pit has only one challenging encounter but the boss fight is a bit of a joke.
-
Only pit boss drops high stat and it’s very easy to solo, however I would still choose to farm it with others. No mic would be needed and you can transfer boss CP that way
-
That makes sense... Thanks guys. Recently switched over from hunter to warlock... My hunter's stats are great but it took quite some time building it up, just looking to minimize the time required to get double or triple hundreds on my warlock

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 10/20/2021 2:04:39 AMNo You definitely need a fireteam Unless you’re secretly Esoterrickk ? If you’re on PSN (or have the psn app for party chat?) then send me a Bungie request & I’ll run Pit/Throne with you (or offer up someone in my clan 😆) Or ask two others in your clan ? 👍
-
Lol that's nice of you bud. My clan is dead🙈... I'm on steam bud.
-
Farming Prophecy is probably the best way. You can also do legend/master empire hunts but they aren't guarenteed drops. Prime engrams tend to drop good armour too. And of course focusing umbrals at the HELM. Season of the Splicer tier 3 gives pretty crazy drops.
-
Thanks... I will try farming prophecy. I've tried focusing from all three seasons and my drops have been nothing higher than a 62 stat total with the stats distributed in a terrible way.
-
Throw a stat mod on your ghost shell. It guarantees any engrams u decrypt will have at least 10 in that stat
