I use MSI x trio 3080 and 3090 Suprim x cards both have had this problem in the past, I removed the dragon centre this fixed my fan issues, might help you even on Team AMD That dragon centre caused me lots of problems in the past with MSI cards, if that's not the problem im out of ideas Global settings are for all applications maybe destiny is malware and doesn't like MSI cards Also i don't use Afterburner or fan curve applications i just leave the GPU's on there own accord and download the AMD/Nvidia control panels and set default, ive seen weird things happen in the past with MSI products lol RTX 3080 x trio is - 70 degrees maxed 5120x1440p RTX 3090 Suprim x - 65 degrees maxed 5120x1440p

  • Well I'll be... I had MSI Center (which replaced 'Dragon Center') installed. After reading your post, I removed it, as well as MSI Afterburner (prefer using Radeon software to control the card anyways) ...and sure enough, Destiny 2 is now respecting my custom fan settings. Really appreciate your reply and solving my problem ^_^ Cheers!
