I'm confused, is it still a game for the players??
"we want you to play the way you want" - continues to force us to use specific weapons for any and all PvE content that matter due to champion mods.
"we won't be nerfing, only bringing other options up to be inline with different options" - nerfs armour, nerfs weapons, artifact mods and reduces viability of other options to fit inline with your idea of what players want and not what they actually want.
"armour uniqueness" - the armour in destiny 1, has always been far superior to anything D2 has created. The latest IB armour? I'm sure the many other posts describing peoples feelings will give you an idea of how it's being taken.
When will you deliver the promises you made? Where we can play our own way and not worry about nerfs to all aspects of favourite playstyles? There's a reason these playstyles are preferred, because other options you have come up with, just don't interest people.
The lore ingame is a good thing, it's fleshing out the story and a good job to because... The actual story is... Lacking, in a big way. The 30second tiny vex force beong labelled as "bigger than twilight gap"?! Really?! Come on guys...
I still enjoy the game and will hopefully enjoy upcoming content but being led around by the nose to play how YOU want ME to play every damn season? It's getting very very tiresome.

It’s just designed around STEAMER Players and YouTube Players who have No Life, No Job, No Relationships out in the Real World who can put in 10,000 Hours per day every week, every months etc. for us Casuals? Nah, this Game isn’t for us (which is why I stopped playing Destiny) who can’t put in 10,000 Hours into the game per day. As a Casual myself, I can only put in MAYBE 3 hours a night maybe 2 and can’t get very far before the Season Ends etc. your headline should be edited to say “Is this Game not designed for Casuals anymore?” And to answer that question is No. Bungie has said “fúck you Casuals” and have dedicated their life’s work satisfying the Content Creators. And Bungie is too busy censoring people who criticize the direction of the Game.

Honestly, for me, the only saving graces to this game is the gameplay aspect (in terms of movement and such) and the music.

1 ReplyFor the mods, let me say this. The only place were the mods matter are in nightfalls, and in DAY ONE raids. And thats it. You can play your way in literally every other piece of content, and you only need to wait one day to not need to use mods in raids.

I admit the devs are a distant from their players but its always been this way. Bungie comes and buffs things players have wanted only to nerf things that are actually balanced or no one had any issues with. Get one and take away two, bungie at its finest lol.

No. Not only is it now a player’s game, it has turned into a three-tiered programmer’s sandbox. You’ve even got Bungie Ninjas telling people “Don’t play on patch day.”.

Seriously whilst I liked the nerfs and buffs as its adds variety, the consensus is that the normal player, generic person, solo guy ect doesn't get listened to. Whilst the streamers and content creators who don't speak for everyone are heard loud and clear. What can we do? What's war good for? Absolutely nothing.

For the last few years, but especially this year, Bungie has been operating like 1. sadists who get off on aggravating players and making their game less fun, or 2. that coworker who is sick of their job so keeps messing things up and acting cranky instead of leaving.

1 ReplyIts a live service game. Theres always going to be changes to the meta. As a whole for once i think bungie has done more right than wrong with these updates. If your looking for a game wherebyou never have to evolve or adapt. You are in the wrong game.
