Why do blinding nades and Stasis work on immune shielded enemies

I know I'm probably going get a lot of hate for this but I don't think blinding grenades should work on an enemy with an immune shield like the minotaurs in the gatekeeper VOG encounter I think the same should apply to stasis and freezing enemies with immune shields if an enemy has a shield that can only be broken by a specific method like say the relic or an activity related debuff then I think you shouldn't be able to damage or apply any debuff or status effect to that enemy until that shield has been broken The minotaurs in VOG for example have those shields so that you have some urgency to break them before they sacrifice but any of that urgency goes out the window because you can press a button and stop them dead in their tracks and then you can do something such as push them off the edge or maybe just leave them alive for a while This shouldn't be how some activities are handled a raid is about coordination and timing so when you remove those aspects an activity that's supposed to be challenging becomes a complete pushover and there's no sense of accomplishment
