I would normally be hyped, happy, and probably feel ready to rest... But, we still need a message from Crow too since he is also a Vanguard for Hunters now.
Simply, my reason to still compete is for Cayde, Crow, Bragging Rights, and the Loot.

I think Crow is gonna get the gig. Hope they good a good job with it. His character is really opening up this last season. And I genuinely enjoy some of his dialogue.. "I jus shot at them til they went away but I like how you said it" "...again.. swirling.. darkness" He's got a bit of cheeky in 'im 😉👍
-
Bragging rights? Honestly, I'm surprised Warlock don't simply opt-out. Looks like all classes are pretty stupid. (I'm including myself- I buy these horrendous seasons).
-
Just another part of norms, bragging rights is like loot... But in both good and bad way, so why not add another to the belt? If anything, I just hope a huge opt-out happens on the Vault of Glass if it isn't for all players over both the transmog and the raid, since it was a raid in the base game of Destiny.

While he definitely will be according to the Dare and his exploits saving Zavala, Crow is not yet the Hunter Vanguard
-
Then the Guardian Games shall be fitting way for Crow to the Vanguard and the ways of the Hunter.
-
He won’t, first of all think of it from a story perceptive, how many civilians and guardians would follow their leaders killer.... regardless of a “dare.” Why would Ikora ever want to, she had so much care for Cayde and too have to be “Fireteamed” with his killer would make seriously 0 sense... From a character perceptive, personally I still hate him, and I never won’t. But if he has to be in this game thanks to reuse-ing old things (now characters too) I’d rather see him as more that background character, rather him be himself and his annoying remarks instead of all of a sudden being somebody in charge of an army... Crow also probably wouldn’t be able to live with himself once he learns A) We killed him / B) He Killed Cayde / and C) he has a throne, palace, and family to return too...
-
We shall see. I'm surprised you can't see the writing on the wall. One of us is going to have a lot of white-washing of walls to do And, I am thinking of it from a story perspective. Redemption being one of the best. Hope for a chance to change? Whose to say what unspeakable things 'our' Guardian did? He was in a traffic jam attempting to escape in vain. Mayhaps to spare his family hardships, he ruthlessly murdered his seven wives and all of their offspring before he was 'arisen'. How can you live with yourself?
-
Doesn’t matter what you do, it’s how you live with it. We’ve done terrible stuff, but not to fellow “humans” (Humans, Awoken, and Exo) closest thing is killing Crow. But he was already a murderer at that point. He was himself, and even after it when he faced down a gun’s barrel, he played the same cared from when he was corrupted. Who knows, none of it matter because Bungie don’t listen to player feedback :)

Edited by NM3K: 4/27/2021 3:52:06 AMCrow and Uldren are two different kinds of people at this point, for you speak of Uldren while Crow is him but without a single trace of memories of self identification, he practically just isn't Uldren anymore. I suppose it is more of a case of who is willing to let go of the past. What I am saying is, Crow isn't Uldren. He doesn't know who he was, doesn't have any memories of his past, and all he has is a scarf that was on him when he was reborn in Light. He is basically Osiris in the days he was exiled, but not of the Vanguard... But of how Guardians and some people/citizens think of the past instead of the present.
-
Crow and Uldren are two separate people. The Queen of the Awoken may be hot but she also used her brother. Crow is Uldren beyond the machinations of his sister.
-
Ya, but (story perceptive) not everyone will do so. Drifter doesn’t care about Cayde too much, and he will probably see that as a straight up sign of weakness from the Vanguard and straight up wrong... (Figuratively) Plus that’s like saying someone (IN REAL LIFE) killed another person (for reference: he killed Sara.) then he gets in a accident and loses his memories. Now we supposed to just let him go? Or convict him? He still killed her... he’s still the same person he was, but no memories...
-
I like to think of it as a form of reincarnation... Except in true reincarnation, the person knew who they were before. The Light is a bit like reincarnation, except it wipes all memories. And that giving second chances kinda stuck with me thanks to Goku.

Respectful opinion. In the end their all opinions. Bungie doesn’t listen to the community for feedback thanks to one of their rules/law. They will do whatever gets them the most publicity and $$$
-
Then let's hope Crow gets to forge his own path that leads to a more better life than his past, that is something we both can agree on.
-
That, yes
-
Unless I missed something, Crow isn't Hunter Vanguard
-
They're basically working their way up to it. I hope it's not the case. Cuz I'd like to see crow be his own person. But alot of arrows point that direction especially the bromancing between him zavala and Osiris'
-
It would be interesting if the story does go into a different direction. Aside from that, I don't see the bromance aside from Osiris making sure Crow doesn't go overboard in protecting where it reveals his identity and Zavala accepting him, which honestly matches Zavala's personality when he doesn't want to seek revenge while Ikora does. In terms of possible ships, I see a Crow and Holiday thing being complicated and we might become a bit of a wingman for both Holiday and Crow without them knowing.
-
Oh I wasn't saying romantically lol just how theyre pushing crow into the Cliq lol
-
I'm quite aware, it was more of I can see the community prob meme ship Crow with those 2 somehow.
-
Especially Osiris xD U had me at sword piercing a knights chest**
