Hey, y'all. Bungie just announced they've deployed an update for Steam. You need to log out of Destiny & Steam for it to take effect. I'm about to log back on. Hope this works.

The fix didn't work. My game is still CTD'ing, most notably now when I load into strikes that aren't part of the Vanguard playlist. I'm about to try Crucible for the first time to see if that's also kacked.
